Nelson Dormait, written and directed by Yvette d'Entremont is a musical comedy featuring well-known classical and operatic songs, as heard on shows such as Bugs Bunny, with a twist: the new lyrics are funny and parody these best-loved classical numbers. Nelson dormait (Nelson was sleeping) is a twist on Nessun Dorma where Vince, the groom is failing to show up for his wedding. Rose, his fiancé and guests deduce that Nelson must have been sleeping – "Delson dormait". The hilarious sold out show featured acting and singing talent from Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. In finding a hero / comedic poster image we settle on a comedic moment in the show, involving a white goose. If you look closely at the webbed feet, the goose is actually pressing down on the piano keys.

I had an amazing experience designing a set of postage stamps for Canada Post! The stamps feature Tim Zeltner's beautiful, magical, folk art style illustrations. The project also included the design of a souvenir sheet, booklets and an official First Day Cover. Check it out »
