Jill McNair is an artist and an educator. Her background as an Art Therapist and Art Instructor has expressed upon her the connection between the creative art process and one’s imagining of a more hopeful future.
Jill wanted a logo mark for her art business. A typographic logo was the best solution to compliment (even contrast) her beautiful landscapes. The "L" ligatures created a memorable mark along with the simple set of colours often used in her paintings.
Jill's love of the natural world and her intention to seek physical and mental well-being has led her to her current body of work. She can often be found seeking inspiration along the Atlantic coastline, beach combing, or hiking in one of the sensational Provincial or National parks.
