I was asked to collaborate on this mural and signage project by interior designer, Shawn LeBlanc of The Designer's Den, for his client, Eco 360. The Designer's Den did the beautiful interior design for Eco 360's new, modern rustic adiminstration facilities and the signage needed to work with the beautiful interior. As the designer, I was asked to try to work with some of the remaining pine boards – or scraps – from the architectural wooden trusses. We chose an aluminum finish for some of the accents, along with transluscent acrylic. The vestibule signage was created in such a way that the logos could be replaced, if needed in a few years. The stain on that sign matched the vestibule's darker wooden colour.
The meeting room photos were printed on fabric and acted as as sound boards. The photographer, Patrick Langis, is an empoyee at the building – his worked accomplished our goal, which was to bring in our region's beautiful landscapes inside.
All signage was manufactured and produced by a local printer, Creative Laminating, who did a wonderful job making our vision come to life.
