The Painted Pineapple is beautiful store in Moncton NB specializing in chalk-style paints, DIY and decor. The store and owners embody the symbolism behind pineapples: hospitality and welcome. I designed the logo with a half pineapple, which allowed us to maximize the type size. Since their primary consumer was female, we opted for a periwinkle rather than the expected yellow pineapple. Unlike yellow, the periwinkle really stands out on white backgrounds, and adds another layer to the idea, that with paint, you can change anything and make it new again.

I had an amazing experience designing a set of postage stamps for Canada Post! The stamps feature Tim Zeltner's beautiful, magical, folk art style illustrations. The project also included the design of a souvenir sheet, booklets and an official First Day Cover. Check it out »
